Ahh, there it was! Her car! Oh heavenly joy! Rose pulled out the scrap of information from Dr. Maw out of her pocket and perused over it. They weren't the best directions, but they would do, she figured. The Den.
The Den.
Oh how she had been waiting to see this, she thought. The Den was CRSP's little secret. It was where... part of her had been created, and that little part of her was going to make a visit home to pick up something quite important.
Oh how sweet family could be!
Rose smiled a little smile, and whistled every so slightly on her way to the Powder Blue Nissan that was hers.

He walked ever so slowly with a notebook in hand and eyes set in it. The new plot of his story had started to reveal it's self in a dream he had last night, or so he says.
"Stay in mind! STAY IN MIND!" Leo continuously thought. The youth had not gotten it all down and had a history of forgetting things like that. Well, he quickly put the last period and looked up.
It was a quiet street, unlike Main.
Picking up his pace a bit he noticed one heck of a Nissan. Since he had gotten here, no one seemed to have a car and that made him miss his old crappy Malibu.
Once he got to where it sat he whistled. "Nice coat and nice wheels." Then the girl that was walking over to it made him look over his sunglasses. "That girl ain't half bad either!" What a goof he was being.

A whistle! That wasn't her own! She was getting happier by the moment! Rose turned her head back just slightly to see who was staring at her goods... her car, I mean. Well, maybe other goods too. Her pretty brown eye winked at him.
"Hey there!" she said, putting her hands on her hips. "I don't see too many people still... functional now a days. Where are you headed?"
There was a small breeze that blew by that moment, blowing the edges of her long brown jacket around. Rose was grateful she was wearing jeans. It was starting to get a little nippy out, and she hated the cold. As did Cardinal. If it got too cold, the other woman would come out and start bitching about it. Hrm. She'd raher she stayed and bitched about it herself.

Leo walked closer to the car. Giving the girl him most charming smile, he closed up his notebook, hoping beyond belief she would not ask him any questions about it.
"Well, hey right back at ya!" He said with a hint of laughter. He too really didn't see much movement in this town, except for about three to six people.
"You know I'm headin' no where! Just walking and making sure no one is getting their asses handed to them by zombies!" Lately, he had been fighting zombies and now Aurora was doing the same with him.
Shivering a slight bit he looked around for something to lean on, but nothing. He didn't dare lean against the car, for he was afraid an alarm would go off. But he decided to forget about it. Then moving a tad bit closer to her, he decided to add, "So, what a pretty little thing like you doin' in a city like this?" Ooh, he was now afraid that, that would probably piss her off. "Pretty little thing, watch now as she's like a cop or something!" He thought quietly in his head.

Hmm... Rose licked her lips slightly at the hint of what she wasn't sure was misogyny or chivalry. For fear of Cardinal, she took it as chivalry, swallowed her pride, and smiled as though this tall man was simply the most charming thing on the planet. Well, at least he was in the city.
"Well, I'm just down on my luck, I guess," Rose murmured. "I've lived here most of my life, lemme tell you, and all of this just up and happened faster than you could imagine! One moment I'm..."
She paused. Just what the hell was her ruse supposed to be anyway...?
"excuse me!" she said, playing off her pause like a hiccup. "Hehe, I had some really carbonated soda before I made my way around the city, this morning. One moment I'm searching for my muse before I send my manuscript into Vivienne City's publishing company, taking my sweet-ass time, might I say - what is it with being rushed nowadays, anyway? Can't I just mosey along and get it done as I please? God, I swear--"
Rose, shut the hell up you're being weird!
Oh right, yeah... she was. She was being cooky. No man likes a cooky woman.
"My bad, was I rambling?" she asked cutely, rolling her eyes with a smile. "I do that sometimes. Well, I'm on my way to see if family still exists. Their residence is heavily sheltered. I don't suppose you'd like to come along, would you? I've got three empty seats."

A smile streatched across his face as she rambled. It was unlikfe him to take rambling, but as he said to himself at first "she was not bad looking either..."
Then the word Publishing Company came up. It made his smile leave his face. Hopefully he could find it, but now he just would sit and chat with her.
Then she asked if he would join her for a ride!
"Of course, I'll join! Maybe then I can get used to place faster." He shrugged a bit, then smiled. What an interesting day he was probably going to have...

"Okay awesome! Strap yourself in and let's get going!" Rose yelled, rushing to unlock her car door. She situated herself inside and reached over to unlock the passenger door, beckoning for the man. "Oh... this is probably dumb of me not to have asked before... but what's your name, sir? My name's Rose!"

Leo was about to get into the car, just as she asked for his name. "The name's Leo. And it's nice to meet you Rose." He finished and then got into the car and buckled up.
